I wish dedication was a pill. I feel like I got hit by a bus. I thought being healthy was supposed to feel good?

Life

I have taken some time off from blogging, and picture taking. I bought a house and I had no idea how much time, and work an old house can demand from you. I work full time, have a new home and a new wife. Life seems to pass you buy so quickly if you don’t pay attention to it. I am letting all the goals I set for myself slip out of reach, and that has to stop.

I can’t say where I got this new found motivation, but I’m glad it’s here. I can’t take another day of feeling sorry for myself cause I haven’t reached my goals. I set out life goals a few years ago and I wandered away with my head in the clouds. The reality is nothing comes easy, atleast not the things worth having.

I have made a new resolution though. I am going to change my life for the better. I am attempting to achieve one of my life goals. Be in bigger better shape. I hope my journey inspires some fellow skinny guys to hit the gym.

I am starting my journey at 150 pounds. My goal is 180

The Generic Street Shot

Chinatown

The generic street shot is underrated in my opinion. People when they see them often say well I could have taken that shot. Then why didn’t they? They are beautiful scenes that most just walk by without taking a moment; I say take a moment and enjoy the streets.

TriBeca Statue

I walked around TriBeca (Triangle Below Canal) a few days ago and happened on this statue. I took a few shots of it because, although a little worse for wear, it was beautiful. It isn’t on any popular  tourist map  and isn’t Museum quality but it had it’s charms. Enjoy.

Flag

These photographs will not always be the best quality or even “good.” I will sometimes post random things I see in the City. I notice a lot of skyscrapers have American Flags on top, and I don’t know if many people pay enough attention to them. So I took this picture to remind everyone to look up.

New York Post

I honestly can’t tell you why this sight prompted a picture. But it caught my eye, so I snapped away. I have a different picture of it on Flickr too.

City At Night

This building has caught my eye on my commute home many times. I finally stopped and took a quick picture of it. I’m sorry for the quality, I will re-post a clearer image when I have the time to stop and focus.

Fallen Rose

Fallen Rose

I found this rose on the ground in Chinatown, NY. It was such a beautiful flower, yet as a friend described it seemed ”sad in the photograph.”  What you can’t see is it was in an Alley outside of a Funeral Parlor. Great perception.
